Jo Marsh

Jo Marsh has been working as a professional in the Arts Industry for over 20 years.

Starting her career in stage management in 2000 with Barking Gecko Theatre Company, she then extended her expertise into producing and PR for shows in Perth, Western Australia, working with The Blue Room Theatre, The Rechabites, Perth Theatre Company and Black Swan Theatre. She was the Festival Director of The Wild West Comedy Festival for two years before becoming the Festival Director of the Perth International Comedy Festival from 2010 - 2013. Seeking challenges abroad she moved to the UK and for seven years ran thejomarsh, a production and PR company, working with international clients for Edinburgh, Brighton, Berlin and Prague Festivals.

She now calls New Zealand her home where thejomarsh is working with local and international acts on productions at Circa Theatre, BATS, Basement Theatre and Fringe Bar, as well as shows included in the Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin Fringes. Oh, she also loves pandas.
